Data processing on behalf of clients
In relation to the school, we act as a data processor in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. The school remains the data controller; we process the data solely on its instructions.
Hosting and location
All data is stored on servers in Germany. No data is transferred to third countries.
Purposes of processing
Obtaining and documenting consent, maintaining class and parent lists, delivering messages, sending notifications, and settling accounts with the school.
Legal basis
Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR for the performance of the contract with the school; Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR for legal obligations; Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR for consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Retention period
Data is deleted as soon as the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies and there is no statutory retention period that prevents this. Consents remain stored for evidence purposes until the end of the statutory retention periods.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. Please address any enquiries to the school or to us.
Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
